Spending as a % should be reduced, but it must be done intelligently. We are finding many savings in our state without cutting any services. Our government was being charged much more than market rates and now that it is open to more bidding freedom, we are learning how much more was being spent.

There can logically be differences of opinions regarding how much is spent on a program. The sickness that the other side is evil is sad. It makes people stupid. People must learn to be more constructive. The same silly arguments that go on daily on these threads which accomplish nothing also go on in Washington...and with the same results. Under performance and a huge waste of time.

Now it is so bad, people are supporting poor performance instead of looking at individual performance and saying, that position is performing poorly and changes must be made. The (d)s support the (d)s and the (r)s support the (r)s...
