it would be easier for me to post the ones i would keep.

Dept. of Defense, CIA, FBI, immigration and probably the NSA and maybe some super secret agency that's necessary for the defense of the USA. other than that, get rid of them all, including supposed necessary ones like the FAA. all their functions would be done better and more cheaply in the private sector.

the first ones to get rid of would be..

the depts of labor, education, homeland security and energy. EPA, NLRB, TSA and any agencies subservient to them.

go to a national sales tax and get rid of the IRS.

then work on the hardest to get rid of, like SSA, which would have to be done slowly. i'm not even sure how to go about it. i wouldn't cut people off that are now dependent on SS or the elderly that would soon rely on it. but we could start with means tests and raising the retirement age. eventually it could be phased out.

no agency would be easy to get rid of because they all now have their own constituents. nobody wants their ox gored.

even the national parks should be sold, but that would be a very low priority. sell most federal lands for whatever they bring. government has no right to own them.

apply your rules to all that we keep except for the super secret agency. all the ones we keep have some waste we could cut out.
