Inflation adjustments? If those are real dollars they will have to be borrowed. I'll wager that the govt spends MORE money in 2012 than this year. If they do it would be rather tough to claim spending got cut, don't you think?

The fact is that even with XX trillion of "deficit reduction" in this plan, there will be deficits as far out as the eye can see (10 years.) At least, that's what CBO's projection are.
