Sometime memories get tweaked. The VW bugs were fun and often the target of jokes for its size.

For some not fun----------shortly after they came on the market a beautiful cousin. husband and small child were killed in an accident in the mid-West that involved a truck. They never had a chance.

Thus far the electric/hybrid vehicles I have seen and ridden in are also all small but not as small as the original VW's. In fact the one's I have ridden in would put Obama's knees to his forehead if he was sitting in one. Of course, Obama will never ride in one ---------he will have security protection for the rest of his life in a limousine custom built as it is now , along with his corporate jet.

Oh my I almost forgot about Michelle-------how will she fit into one of the small electric cars.
