Hi John,
How could it be that you are so narrow minded and just want to see the negatives and don't even try to understand. Do you really mean that exclusiviy to Siemens means that only Siemens telephones will be available in the market place? Didn't you notice that fonix struck a deal with Siemens semiconductors which produces chips not only for their cellulars and conventional telephones but also for the various Ericsons, Nokias and you name it?
Of course, their own products will be first on the market, but how do you think they would want to set worldwide standards? Just by selling Siemens telecom products? Nah, if you want to set standards, the whole industry needs to adopt your technology, and they seem to be quite convinced of that.
Why do you want to focus on the ONE TIME "multi million" ? Is this really what will move the stock price? No, the recurring royalties will make the difference. When will they kick in? Certainly not tomorrow, my best guess is it will be somewhen in 98.
Now, since you are short and stubbornly intend to remain so, remember that your reward is maximum 6 bucks, but with every deal fonix signs, your risk rises exponentially.
Regards,
