The percentage of wealthy people that run hedge funds is very small. Is even one person in 50,000 in charge of a hedge fund? Probably not. Your focusing on one tree you don't like and then deciding to burn down an enormous forest.

Not that I think there is anything wrong with being a hedge fund manager, but even if we pretend they are all evil, and that its good to stomp them whenever possible, that would not support your side of the general argument at all.

Even when considering hedge fund mangers - "pulling down the rich doesn't help the poor" still holds.
