Hedge Funds exec's pay at cap gains rates.... Top 5% incomes in US pay about 20% of AGI...and that argues for higher rates on the wealthy...

May be a small number of people but as you say, that's irrelevant.....and it is more than a small portion of their income otherwise they would fight so fiercely for it.....
