I really don't have a problem with plug-in hybrids for those who want to use them.

But ultimately, the big solution to our problem is CNG IMO. Converting a single 18-wheeler to CNG yields a savings of 20,000 gallons of diesel fuel a year. Converting a million of them, well, you can do the arithmetic.

And we have a pretty much unlimited supply of gas and don't have to pay one nickel to foreign entities to get it. And it is a hell of a cleaner than oil.

And, as Chesapeake has illustrated, we don't need government to do a damned thing but get the hell out of the way.
