yes, i have read in the past the tremors in arkansas are in the 2.x range. does that agree with your fayetteville shale research? i was only looking at the article in german/switzerland, because that was the article he appended to his posting. that geothermal thing in basel had nothing to do with shale or fracing. there is a technical term in the wiki link he sent me (in german too) that i am having a friend of mine in germany describe what the contraption is or looks like. also the geology was not anything to do with shale. maybe they were drilling way, way down to see if they could recreate hot springs, arkansas, like conditions.
