Iraq should have never been started so some guy could get his family revenge. Libya is closer to what we were doing with Iraq before the invasion (but certainly with differences) which was working...overflying 2/3rds of the country, with the inspectors back in, Saddam' s dangers compromised and no Americans on the ground getting killed or maimed.

Afghanistan should be changed to a police action, counter terrorism approach (there are clearly heavy costs and dangers there as evidenced by this mornings helo crash) which it could have been after the fall of the Taliban and the end of Osama at Tora Bora. But no, Bush allowed it to degenerate into the US "nation building" (yup, we can nation build but can't handle a simple debt ceiling increase because of our "taliban") making it all the more difficult for us to get out.
