I would definitely not try to pick disputes with the bulk of people around me and try to boss them around ... I'd want to live and let live. I would want my kids to learn to live in the country we have. Not have to pursue some crusade to make it non-religious. I have read of situations where one family of atheists sued over some affront ... frankly, I think doing that is worse for their kids than doing nothing.

you're totally cool with Wiccans and Muslims addressing your local middle school- I mean if the school board thinks it is appropriate?

First of all, it depends on whether we're going to let Muslims and Wiccans do things we don't let Christians do. Second, since school officials are elected, I'm not too worried about schools favoring those faiths.

Since there are a lot of liberals in the country, and there are very small numbers of atheists and agnostics, lots of liberals are religious. It's just that they don't need to foist their religion on others.

But you see when they sue to try to prevent a prayer rally or something like that they ARE trying to foist their religious opinons on others. They're saying we don't like this kind of thing so you shouldn't do it.
