Have you are anybody else noticed that when you change a GTC order and receive a "cancel pending", it remains active (in some case over 48 hours during the weekend) until a conformation of the change is received by the market maker. I use Schwab and their market maker is UBS. I was told that I am still liable for any of these "cancel pending orders" if for any reason the change is not received even though I have changed the initial GTC order.

I have been going through my GTC order list and setting up some low ball offers about 8% below the last market trade. Some of the early indications from other markets.

Saudi market down more than 6% on Saturday, Israel market delayed open, ended 7% lower.

U.S. Market could gap down on the Open tomorrow and I suspect there will be a lot of volatility.
