The US debt is a class in itself. It is not analogous to household debt. Neither does it share the same level of concern as the European debt. It is only our select citizens who are in the minority that are concerned. Concerned that t hey will lose their wealth and hence have embarked on protecting the rich for if they succeed in protecting the rich which is a level higher than theirs, can they be assured of protecting theirs.
