Northern Telecom & Rockwell have announced joint efforts
to develop a light version of ADSL. It would offer
data transmissions of 1mb/sec. The technology will be
incorporated directly into the CO switch.

Interesting how such big players are targeting a lower
bandwidth offering. They must feel there is a market
for it.
