I already e-mailed Farsight of my forthcoming account cancellation.

So, you can add my name to your lists. I use Datek for my NASDAQ, AMEX, and NYSE trades and have been more than satisfied. I used FarSight for OTC trades exclusively. Just set up a new account yesterday with Suretrade for my OTC trades.
Also upset that Farsight only gave us 17 business days notice before new pricing sets in. Hope I can get my account transferred before they slap an account transfer fee on us. Whoever mentioned it earlier, I agree it sure sounds like "bait & switch" with their pilot program. What even appalls me more is that they make a comment that the new commission and fee schedule is "highly competitive with the market". From the sounds of this thread, we know that's a lie. For the trade I do with them they are higher than my full-service broker Smith Barney. I would encourage everyone with a Farsight account to e-mail them individually with your comments. Not that I think it sounds like they will change their minds but at least with your personal satisfaction of letting them know you're dissatisfied. The sad thing is that many customers will just be complacent and not check out other services.
