Re: "to bad it's the republicans pushing the nanny state." Too bad that BOTH parties find something to love in a Nanny or "Big Daddy" State.... Because that's the only reason we still have one! (If EITHER party would ever break from it's addiction to authoritarian interventions into the lives of it's citizens then the choke-hold of the Nanny State could be broken by the citizen's voting it out. But, when both candidates support it [albeit in slightly different forms] then the Nanny State endures.)
