Forgetting about the corruption of both political parties for a moment, Buddy, the voters who actually support the fiscal and social conservative positions are the ones who are the most likely to always (a) pay their bills in full and ahead of schedule, (b) live their lives in a responsible way, (c) use their excellent credit wisely, and (d) proactively ensure that they maintain their good names and their excellent credit ratings. These people are graded AAA (e.g., the best of the best).

In contrast, the voters who actually support the fiscal and social liberal positions are the ones who are the most likely to routinely (a) neglect their bills and default on their obligations, (b) live their lives in a variety of irresponsible ways, (c) abuse their poor credit even more, and (d) carelessly allow their names and abysmal credit ratings to degrade even more, all the while pointing a finger of blame at someone else for the self-engineered disasters in their own lives. These people are graded D (e.g., the lowest of the junk). This is true regardless of how much the government jumps up and down and demands that we accept them as AAA, when they clearly are nothing more than worthless junk grade people. Do you see and understand this basic fact?

America is a failed social and fiscal experiment that attempted to merge the AAA class with the D (junk) class.

Frankly, I'm surprised that S&P was willing to average the nation's sovereign credit rating as high as AA+. Given the rapid, unfavorable shifts in the nation's demographics, I doubt the USA will be able to hold it's AA+ status for very long before additional downgrades are implemented. It's easy to see that a much lower credit rating is already warranted. -ng-
