The lesson that all the lurkers need to know is that owning pfds in quiet times is usually totally boring. In crazy times like these, however, they need to know which are more vulnerable to being tossed overboard for big losses. Insurers are one category of pfds that can go kablooey under the wrong circumstances. Just a word to the wise for everyone.
