As absurd as it may seem, gold might fall since a safe haven is not needed while the markets are rallying. That is also what Jesse is saying, but who knows whether this "ordinary" scenario will play out. Meanwhile, GDX again found support @ 55.40 which first provided resistance on June 22nd, then once it was exceeded it provided support on July 11th and 12th and again for the past 3 days.
