Surely, you must understand by now that yours is only one view, and that given the failure of the stimulus to have even the slightest positive effect, it is time to consider that your view might just be 180 degrees wrong, no? Bloomberg was making a different point...which is that if we are not working to strengthen the fundamental pillars of the nation we will be at a significant disadvantage when we come out of this funk...that takes investments in critical areas...i don't think there is any political ground to even have that discussion with the republicans today.
