The issue is the S&P downgrade, not how some Tea Partiers talked about how we could have managed through a default. But let's assume for the moment that this country is indeed being held "hostage" by a bunch of extremists naming themselves after an event that took place in colonial Boston. Tell us how you would deal with it, if you were in Obama's shoes. Just whine and point fingers, or do whatever it takes to reconcile both sides in Congress and still preserve the S&P AAA rating, even if it costs you politically? Tenchusatsu
