I knew that before I even revised the table, but I thought it would be a good exercise to take a look at the actuals for the 1st half of the year and compare them to the estimates for the remainder of the year. If anything it showed more disconnect between stock prices and earnings, both actuals and estimates, if that is possible.

This kind of disconnect in the market is always there, and why it makes it so hard to apply logic to the market and make money. Logic never works(at least most of the time), and that is why we have to fall back on technical analysis to such a large degree. Very smart people spend hours, days, weeks, and years trying to come up with some fool proof way of analysing charts and tables to make money. They never really make it. Some develop some useful tools, but certainty is never there.

But we all knew that! LOL.
