Jim:

Sorry to butt in but there are other companies that have this technology. Exxon for one. I also believe that there is a South African Company and I know that there is an american company called Renteck (RNTK) which has this type of technology. This was posted previously on this thread and a phone number was given for RNTK. I called and requested their investor package. In my discussions with their represntative, he said that Syntroleum does not have a producing plant. On the other hand there is at leat one plant using RNTK technology working and a few in process of being built. RNTK does not intend to manufacture any facilities. Their approach will be to license their technology for a fee and a percentage of profits. Their position is that they can keep overhead low and let profits from royalties drop to bottom line.

Hope you find this useful.
