Obama was sent to the White House with a Democratic Congress to fix the mess Bush & Co left behind. Instead, the Democrats proved to be inept and ineffective, as evidenced by the long drawn out nauseating circus that produced a sickening health care bill. The result was a Republican takeover of Congress that emboldened the right.

The country is not divided and partisan... 70% of the country wants a balanced approach to taxes, spending and deficits. What did Obama sign? A bill that is about as one sided as one can get.

The right is determined to prove the point that government is incompetent and ineffective as a means of returning to power. So far it seem to be accomplishing that goal.
