It's easy to talk a good game, not so easy to play a good game.

We always talk about buy low and sell high. Buy when there is blood in the streets.

How many were buying yesterday?

I stay 100% invested and I am reinvesting the dividends on all of my holdings. All I can do is stay the course and I sincerely don't worry about share prices or the movement of the markets.

A friend of mine called me last night, concerned about all of the negative financial news he was hearing. I told him to stop listening. I haven't watched CNBC in so long, I can't recall the last time I tuned in.

My buddy was concerned that the value of his portfolio was dropping. I told him I hadn't noticed, even though I manage his portfolio. I said the only thing I noticed is that his dividend income this month will set a new high in spite of the market sell off. It's difficult for people to grasp that at times, especially in the face of sell offs like yesterday.

On another note, Carla Pasternak sent out a mid-month report earlier today with a buy recommendation on SDRL. That was quite a come back today on this company. I'm impressed.
