Please drop the [ /url ] s from the end of your links, you do it all the time and it makes them more difficult to follow (although copy, paste, edit, and then pressing return works)

As for the content at your link, sure they are poor. And their actions are helping to keep them that way. They are destroying the economic basis of their own communities.

Also notice many, probably most of the rioters don't even know about the political situations you are saying they are rioting because. The rioting started because of a police shooting, not because of government spending priorities. Once they started a lot of people joined in because it provided them with an easy opportunity to steal things, or because of some twisted sense of what's fun. Then the initial police reaction was weak, and the riots spread out of control.
