The teachers picture appear to be in such pain to be asked to pay what still amounts to less than private sector employees. My daughter has two children and lives in California. She pays an enormous amount for medical coverage. The state developed a program much less expensive for the children and by her income she qualifies. The only problem is that since she already has coverage she cannot drop her private coverage and get the state coverage without a 6 month or so period of NO COVERAGE.

Teachers in Wisconsin should be very pleased they are compensated so well. Their tears only amount to getting a peek at the real world and they want to roll over and go back to their dream world.
