Of course she wouldn't. Mothers always have high hopes for their children. A mother would never dream her child was going to turn out to be a lawyer, paparrazi, or televangelist.
If I may offer myself as an example my mother continues to be eternally optimistic that I will reform and stop shorting stocks, posting on the Flame thread, and make something out of myself. Like become a plumber or proctologist.
