I saw Obama was speaking at a battery factory today. Seems like there wasn't a great reception. It could be because Holland is a patriotic town. Too bad kenny did not visit it many times and meet the patriotic people.. Heavily Republican Holland doesn't get dressed up for Obama visit Holland is an odd choice for Obama to visit. The city did little, if anything, to spruce up for the visit. There were no extra flags flying downtown, or signs welcoming Obama. Ottawa County, where Holland is located, is perhaps one of the most Republican counties in the state, voting for John McCain for president by a 61-37% margin over Obama. freep.com
