dave--thanks for the info. as for compatability problems with win95 and pro, the only problem is that win95(for all of MSFT's 32 bit hype) is still full of 16bit legacy code, which the pure32bit pro chokes on. it has nothing to do with the manufacturer of the box or intel, but instead with MSFT. if you are running and plan to keep running win95, then buy a fast pentium, not the pro. good luck to all, trey
