CJ,

JAG shot up from 4.30 to 5.64 (basis USD) in 3 days.
A 50% retracement would mean a correction to 4.97.
The 34 day weighted moving average was at at 5.04 yesterday.
The 8 day weighted moving average was at at 4.95 yesterday and 4.81 the day before (moving up fast).
The 8 day weighted moving average is a great tool to quickly identify trend changes. When it stops going up, the trend is likely changing.

To pick tops and bottoms, use the 50 period bollinger bands (not the standard 20, it's useless). That is the only thing that Bollinger Bands should be used for.
