I think I just understood Rush to say they struck down the Individual Mandate (as you said) which is how this monster would be paid for....but they left the rest.... It will be interesting to see what happens now.....It will go to the Supreme Court....

but in the meantime, maybe it will just STOP DEAD IN ITS TRACKS...... If it does, the stock market should pick up ....

When this whole health care situation arose, people wanted relief from the gathering high costs of insurance. They did NOT want the Government to go nuts and demand everyone was to be on the Government sheets for the costs....

The REAL problem is how to PAY for the treatment people who have no insurance---some of them quite intentionally have none....those folks simply want everyone else to continue paying their way.

PLUS I'll say again, Government in it's usual bull-in-a-china-shop way has NOT created any special Blue Ribbon Panels to determine just why all the high cost equipment that we have is just so expensive...Is that Government Regulations making everything so expensive....think back to the $600 hammer for the Air Force.....Government builds into nearly every mandate redundant systems, and thousands of onionskin type pages for every single requirement.... THUS the cost of a $25 hammer, ends up costing $600...and probably today, knowing the inflation we have over the last 20 years, probably $1500.....
