The insulting, misogynist question to Michelle Bachmann was BEYOND contemptible. I sat there with my jaw on my chest at the question and then at her AMAZING ability to SMILE at him, which put the creep in his place with a loud thud!
He was going for a two-fer, slam Michelle and demean the Bible by deliberately misinterpreting the scripture. Actually, it call for BOTH husband and wife to love and respect each other, but the heaviest requirement is on men. That always gets ignored and the focus in on the word "submit," which is largely mis-translated in today's world.
Anyone who is married, or as in my case, has been married, knows, if there is no respect, and yes, often "submission," the marriage is in trouble.
.All that said, can you IMAGINE Obama being questioned about his "religion"? The mind reels at the double-standard.
