amarksp, NiMin Energy (NNN.TO) -- great recap, thanks for sharing it. When I first read the earnings PR and noticed how little info they gave about new operations I just presumed that they were planning to put out another ops update in a few weeks. But then when I heard Clancy's comment about them basically giving up on the warrants that sorta scratched that thought. This now leaves me quite befuddled regarding what their thinking is. This company has some tremendous plays going, too bad management is not trying harder to provide more up to date production info on them, at such a crucial time in the company's development.

I had asked Jon recently whether they would consider extending the warrant exercise period and he dismissed that thought outright. Curious what you or others would think about that strategy. I'm not talking about a long extension, say 90 days or so. Short-term it would certainly be detrimental to the stock price but query whether it might be the best thing for the company in the long term, if it resulted in getting even just another million or 2 warrants exercised. Based on what you have laid out this company appears to be just 1 ops update away from seeing a big move in the stock price, well past $1.55.
