The age of the earth is irrelevant and Lucifer only knows where you get the Jesus riding dinosaurs from.

What will you say when scientists provide the proper conditions, and those pieces of code fall into "life"? It'll happen, probably in my lifetime.

You still don't appreciate the mind-boggling complexity of even the simplest life. No chemicals are ever going to 'fall into life.' That just shows your ignorance of the science involved.

Now could humans, with much more complicated nano-technology than exists now, someday assemble artificial life? I happen to think its possible .. the barriers are simply a matter of the overwhelming complexity involved. And cost. But that would only be an example of intelligent design ... with humans as the designers this time. The idea of it happening by accident .... zero or about as close to zero as you can get.
