You are doing the old "all cultures are equally valid" thing. No they are not. Nearly all cultures are mere tribal barbarianisms. VVV are different. Neither are all races the same, other than a bit of clothing, just as dogs are one species, but various breeds have quite different mental characteristics, by DNA, not just hair colouring and other physical attributes. Putting a collar on a pit bull does not turn it into a beagle.
