Have you considered that the creator might not be god?

Guess that by 'god' you here mean the God of our bible, right?

Yes, of course I have. I never said I am a believing dogmatic Christ. That is, however, a far cry from claiming that I am some sort of atheist.
Frankly speaking, I have never spent too much time thinking about this IMHO very complex issue of which I would never come to a better understanding anyway. I am a way too humble person to jump the ship into the camp of atheist believers.
But all in all, I believe that some kind of higher level creator must indeed have been involved, 'alien' or not.
The idea that the molecules from some whatever level just happened to fall in place to create homo sapiens - or even a fly - IMHO is truly naive and those who believe that rather belong locked up in a rubber cell.

All of above assuming that universe and life have not always existed, that is. But then again, where did man come from, has he also always existed somewhere?
