Do you mean breaking and entering and squatting rent free and doing damage and thieving? <When I was an activist during the 1970's there were some terrible problems with community relations with the police. I remember opening up some residences in the London Harlesden area that unfortunately were only successful for a couple of years. > What did you 'activate' about? The way to avoid problems with police is refrain from crime. I have been stopped many times and have never had a problem. It seems they had good cause to stop and search you. Seeing "activists" "opening residences" would get me calling the police to search them too: < I was frequently searched by the police. One just remembered to remain calm no matter what happened and don't give just cause for worse to happen. > I have always managed to remain calm though I did tell one policeman he really should get something more useful to do.
