Tejek, little bush did not protest the Viet Nam war. Or the fraternities. Bush and his friends are the Teapers today. What Bentway is telling you is there were two populations of boomers and they were fighting each other. Rat and I were fighting the bush's on the street and were getting tear gassed. There was a straight world and non straight world. We hippies referred to the conservatives as the "straights". They were the same Republicans you see today. We were not straight. The Teapers are decendents of the straights, not the hippies-lol. Ted, boomers aren't a monolithic group. A lot of them voted for Nixon and Reagan, and NEVER protested the Vietnam war. You need to quit considering boomers as ONE political group. Boomers aren't politically aligned. I don't think Bachmann, Perry or the Koch brothers EVER protested the Vietnam war! They were probably all for it, as were many boomers. You just show a deep ignorance of REAL history. I repeat..........I find it ironical that the same generation that brought us the peace marches in the 60s are bringing us the teapers in the 21st century. Beyond that....how would anyone know who is who. There are so many myths from that era.....who knows what's true and what isn't.
