About the quarterly report:

This is from the extension that Biolase filed for their quarterly report:

The Company anticipates the filing of its Report to occur no later than Wednesday, November 19, 1997.

The following effects on operations are expected for the three-month period ended September 30, 1997 as compared to the same period in 1996:

(i) revenues are anticipated to be approximately three and one-half times greater;

(ii) net loss is expected to be approximately one-tenth less due to the increase in revenues offset by increased operating expenses; and

(iii)net loss per share is expected to be approximately two-tenths less.
