Hey, I like x-ray lithography. I'm a technical salesman, and once sold x-ray lithography equipment. I have watched technical people at a number of large companies got through the stages of enthusiatic interest, through interest, through ambiguity, through discouragement.In the end, most companies put this on the back burner to resurrect when optical lithography fails. It is right there with direct-write electron beam, and ion beam lithography. They all work, but are too slow and expensive for volume production. Maybe someday optical lithography WILL run out of gas. Then one of these technologies will be king. How to invest to make money on that possibility???
