Merisel Honors 1997 Hot List Winners at 15th Annual Comdex Award Party
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1997--Merisel Inc. (Nasdaq:MSEL) announced this year's Hot List Award winners at its annual Fall Co mdex award celebration.
Merisel hosted The Merisel Speakeasy Monday evening in roaring-twenties style at the Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas.
Merisel's executive management team, including Chief Executive Officer Dwight Steffensen and President Bob McInerney, along with platinum sponsors CMP Media Inc. and ViewSonic, were on hand to host the exclusive event and acknowledge the industry's top manufacturers for their best-selling products in 1997.
Guests were treated to big-band music and swing dancing in addition to hors d'oeuvres, martinis/cocktails, gourmet desserts, coffees and fine cigars. Also contributing to the event were gold sponsors Compaq, IBM, Okidata and Toshiba; and silver sponsors Corel, InFocus, Intel, Intel Canada, Minolta and Sun Microsystems.
