great post .. ..Question: will Germany pick up the tab, causing the mother of all rallies per feel of European Union forever, and for how long before German electorates say, "enough", enabling the black hole of deflation as Europe simply forgot how to get on on own?

I am also watching:

- america wobble, wobble, exhibiting ever greater amplitude, rising frequency, with each qe coming on faster than previous qe, and progressively attaining the natural rhythmic frequency leading to collapse

Financials not very happy today MS and GS possibly falling back on this...

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has expressed plans to introduce a "Tobin tax" in Europe: This means taxes on financial transactions, which is something the banks will hate.

Obviously we need details, but this is not minor news if it's carried forth.

On the surface, we'd expect banks to scream bloody murder, but given that the whole point of this ongoing bailout exercise is to protect banks, it's hard to imagine this being too damaging ultimately.
