Hi JakeStraw -

UGP could become a potential value Buy for me if the PE comes down a bit in the 10-11 range. I prefer the U.S. for the NG distribution business. Perhaps if the company was a bit more leveraged to the AG sector, I might nibble at a few shares. My preference for the long term for Brazil are (1) natural resource companies and (2) Agriculture. Clownbuck also suggested rails but I found no pure play there. I guess UGP is a possible play on their infrastructure growth as they do provide multimodal transportation & storage services for bulk fuels and chemicals at port facilities.

My favorite long term is Vale S.A. (VALE) for their resource play. After my sale today my average share cost is around $26.00. I hope to add to my position at a similar or lower price in 31 days.
