These are my personal guesses:
ZIP will be the next industry standard in removable (Bootable) storage, the next "FLOPPY"
CLIK, Will be the next retail 35 mm film. As far as the rest, I bet on CLIK.
Rocky, you are right when you mentioned something about a "new technology" changing the industry, I would say, watch optical storage, but that would be in the future, right now I would still bet on magnetic storage. I still believe mechanical storage devices are going to be here for a LONG time. |
