My Proxie says a two-for-one stock split (to holders of record on December 31, 1997). I really am not sure when the split is exactly, I don't think anyone knows as it has to be approved by the shareholders, but you can call this number 1-800-433-2391, CPQ's faxback and search around a little.
As for the stock being 80 or so, I base that on what most analyst are saying, that the DOW will retest new highs my the end of this year. Historically, the DOW performs well after Thxgiving to the end of January, and CPQ goes up, and down, with the DOW, therefore, if the DOW does back to 8200 or more, CPQ will certainly be around $80.
