Retirement! Everyone's goal isn't it? Some more info for everyone. It has recently come to my attention that Barrick Gold, Canada's major play and one of the world's biggest and most efficient producers, holds roughly an 8% stake in OROP. As well and even more intriguing is that Barrick's Pirehna property, is situated on the same formation as OROP's, roughly 50 kilometres south. I have been following Barrick very very closely for the last 3 years. Their Pierina property is the gem in their portfolio. It is believed that it will only cost Barrick $50/ounce to mine the gold. Remember, that Barrick paid roughly $30/share for this property from Arequipa. Hence, things are looking EXTREMELY good for OROP. Both company's have done some JV previously, but nothing to Barrick's liking thus far. However with OROP's Tres Cruces property, WATCH OUT. This property is FANTASTIC. Several people, whom are very good friends of mine, are very bullish on this land. As I stated many times, with excellent management and cash on hand, it truly is a matter of time. I did speak to Joyce-IR for OROP and we should be listed on the TSE in a few weeks. Getting listed on the TSE will help with exposure as well as attract some key and influential people. At these current prices, this stock is a phenomenal buy. I have accumulated 40,000 shares and will buy some more in the near future. The price of gold is and will probably continue to languish for a while. However, even if this occurs, I find it hard to fathom that this stock will sink lower. No one likes to predict prices or market conditions, however, based on all the information that I have compiled, which is very extensive, and based on all the opinions I have received from some close friends and associates, this stock has a TREMENDOUS future. I firmly believe that Barrick will play a very prominent and pivotal role. Keep in mind, Barrick's cash on hand is absolutely amazing. From listening to Peter Munk at this year's annual meeting, Barrick is going to be in an "Acquistion mode". Considering there large reserve of cash and many juniors being so incredibly cheap, I have a gut feeling that Mr.Munk's dream will come to fruition sooner than later!!! Orop has a very bright future!!!
