This is looking as bad as 08. So what happens now?

The market goes down, oil goes down, eventually they bottom and turn around.

Then, one day, the market sez, "OMG, Rat and his friends are right; we're at peak oil, and this is all there is." It crashes big time. Then it starts back again, slowly.
