Speaking of deflation.... we shoulda loaded up on gold coin, then everything else would look like it was deflating.

I marvel at people buying gold at these prices. I'll probably marvel at them a year from now when it hits $5,000 or $10,000 or some other amazing price. Eventually, some year, interest rates will turn positive and then the great rush into the barbaric yellow relic will slow down a bit. But in the meantime I sure wouldn't bet against it.
