It wasn't just McCain it was some in the background with influence that few knew about.

These were those who play both sides of the aisle------they claim to be of one party whether it be the Republican or the Democrat Party. When it comes to elections, they will pull the plug on their own party and move to the other side but without the public knowing.

They will go to local and state conventions and switch sides when their candidate lose in convention. In other words there is no loyalty to the party whose convention they participate in.
